I Am Number Four

Have you ever had to constantly move homes to keep yourself safe? Would you be able to leave your life behind and create a new one without any regrets? Culd you manage to stay alive while being hunted by an entire army? I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore tells the exciting story of survival, love, and the endless chase.

15-year-old Daniel Jones is burning his life once again. He's an alien from the plantet of Lorien, the fourth one of nine to be hunted and killed by the Mogadorians. He and his guardian immediately change their names and move to Ohio, and John Smith is created. Blending in and staying hidden is what John's used to, but this year is different once he meets Mark, and suddenly he's standing out. On top of dealing with this unneeded attention, John's legacies are developing. These legacies are powers that will help him to defeat the evil aliens that are hunting the nine of his kind to extinction before they take over the world. Can John leave this life, along with his friends and girlfriend, behind to save his life?

This book is one worth reading. I was up past 9 (only until 930 Mom) reading this because it was just too good to put down! Lore does an exraordinary job of creating and explaining the story of how John copes with his life as he's being hunted. Nothing else can compare to a book like this one!

Will John be able to survive the wrath of the Mogadorians? Can he keep his small family of three alive with him? Are we living with the other five kids without our knowing? Read I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore and you could find out some interesting facts that may shock you and change the way you think about our world today.

  1. Hi Megan. Altho I've been reading most of your Blogs, I couldn't comment because I didn't know how to join! But, I finally got a Google account and now I am on your followers list! You do such a great job on these Blogs. Proud of you! So happy that you are a Reader - and you always have been. I love to read as well and am trying to finish reading Hawaii (James Michener) now. It is very long but so interesting.. about the history of Hawaii. He wrote lots of very descriptive, lenghty books as you might know. Maybe I'll read Texas next. Look forward to your next Blog and book reviews. Love ya, Nana
